We've all faced some kind of trauma in our lives. Trauma is a response to a deeply distressing event that overwhelms you and challenges your ability to cope. There are all kinds of trauma; mental, emotional, physical, sexual, amongst others. I've faced my fare share of trauma too. I know all about the feelings of helplessness that come from trauma, as well as the diminished sense of self and your ability to feel a full range of emotions and experiences. I've learned to work through my traumas, have healed myself, and learned how to manage and express my emotions when necessary. Now, I'm here to help you do the same. Know that you're not alone. There's nothing,
"wrong" with you. There's nothing to feel guilty or ashamed about. I provide a safe place for you to come, share, be heard, find non-judgment and acceptance, as well as encouragement and empowerment. This is your chance to be yourself, heal, and gain more confidence in yourself and your ability to move forward to live a full and successful life. So, no matter what trauma you've encountered or are still working through, just know you can find a way to deal with and overcome your temporary issues, just like I did. We all go through different situations, but the emotions are all similar. I've dealt with just about every possible emotion there is, so I know how to work through them all. If I can, so can you!
